This was a great favour … coffee! You know these gifts for the guests were going to be happily used!

Your professional Edmonton wedding photographers enjoy the process of finding locations where there seems to be none! In this photo, we weren’t deep in a forest… we were on the edge of a parking lot at the reception venue

Shoes. Honestly, it’s the only thing brides are sure to get more than one wear out of when they pick their wedding ensemble. So make sure you always pick ones you will love to wear and wear again – or be like us – totally regretting our choice of shoes on our wedding day. Mine were ugly (don’t ask me why I decided to cheap out on my shoes), and Lloyd’s were ultra uncomfortable and killing him the whole day ( don’t as me why HE cheaped out on his shoes). But, lesson learned, so do what THIS fabulous bride did, get the shoes of your dreams and live it up. That way when you look back at your photos and you see your shoes, you will be happy. ( ;

Paris photo by Stephanie Cragg
I had the opportunity to photograph 3 couples in Paris, just after their weddings, and I saw a mini trend! Two of the three brides were wearing short white dresses, and two of the three brides carried flowers in their arms. It was really a fresh, spunky look!

A favourite moment from this wedding, a genuine embrace in the forests of the Rocky Mountains

What a great way to add that classic vintage look. This bride wanted something more fun than a traditional veil so went for a 1950s pillbox hat that was originally purchased at saks 5th avenue. It added the perfect flair to this beautiful fall Jasper wedding.

I love how the leaves look in this late autumn shoot. Just because you miss the bulk of the fall colour, doesn’t mean you have to miss out on the photos too.

Can you spot the life-sized cutout? lol
When one of the brides best friends couldn’t be at the wedding, they got a life-sized cutout, complete with bridesmaid dress and made sure she was part of the action all day long. So much fun, and such a cute idea too.

I love, love, love covered buttons on the back of wedding gowns! They can add such an old-world feel.

Watching Larisa do up her wedding day shoes was like watching poetry… she did it with such grace! I didnt have to change a thing…I just had to catch the moment

I’m totally loving the fusion engagement shoot! On top of professional engagement photos, video is added in to tell each couple’s story. This couple actually saved their video/shoot to show at their wedding, which was so awesome! Click the photo to see the video.

Tiffany Box Wedding Cake photo by Stephanie Cragg
The beauty of this wedding cake is that it was created to mimic the Tiffany Boxes that our bride and grooms rings came in

A lot of fun can be had, manipulating your veil for your wedding photos! And sometimes, just letting the wind take it where it may, can help produce great photos too
