While preparing for a wedding many brides tan, do their nails and toe nails, and do all they can to be looking their best. That is why we recommend also using this time to do some awesome boudoir photographs! These photographs can be done on your wedding day itself if you have enough time.

To give your photographer the most creativity, choose to do a session a few days prior to or after your wedding day. Boudoir photographs could make a great stagette party for you and your bridesmaids, or can be a great wedding gift for your hubby-to-be!

A perennial favourite venue among wedding photographers in Edmonton, is the Fairmont Hotel Macdonald. A hotel ripe with history, architecture and ambience, it is one of my favourite places to photograph a wedding. A five star hotel with exceptional service, food and all the extras that you would expect from a world class hotel.

The cathedral ceiling in the Wedgewood Room is beyond what mere words can express. It is a spectacular room to hold your ceremony and reception in, with the only limiting factor being the number of people you can fit into the room.

Planning a wedding can be stressful! If you’re short on time, or not sure what comes next in the wedding planning process (after all, most people only do this wedding thing once!), a wedding planner is a great idea, and will save you a lot of headaches!

Atmosphere Wedding Planning and Design has packages that are different from other wedding planning packages you will see in the Edmonton area, and quite possibly in the industry. Jennifer is super fun, friendly and awesome to work with – she makes everything easier for both the bride and groom, and vendors too! She coordinated Abigail and Joal’s dream wedding at the Hotel Macdonald, pictured here.

Couples often love the idea of having a photo made of them and their pet, on their wedding day. To make this a reality and for

the process to go smoothly, simply plan ahead: appoint a friend or family member as handler, and have them bring your pet to

a pre-determined location, at a set time. That person can also be responsible for your pets needs, from water on a hot day, to

baggies &  leashes, to getting your pet back home safe and secure.

Our first post is about a great wedding cake maker in Edmonton.

One of our recent weddings had a beautiful red velvet wedding cake by Cakes By Janna.  The cake was perfect for the Valentine’s Day wedding of David and Laura.  We visited the bakery recently, it’s amazing to see all the gorgeous cakes.
